Nike

I picked Nike because I like their product; especially their shoes. They were the first branding of shoes I remember wearing. Furthermore, it always intrigued me that a checkmark looking symbol was so universally known and I thought that was interesting. Lastly, I really like the symbol of a check looking symbol because it is simple, which defines the company to me as straight forward and shows the remarkable trait of brilliance through simpleness.

McDonalds

I picked McDonalds because I frequently eat there and their symbol stands out to me. The symbol, like the Nike logo, is simple as it is made with a yellow M. The logo is universally famous too, which makes me choose it to show that simple logos can be remarked as remarkable. The final reason why I chose McDonalds is because the symbol completely shows how it represents the McDonalds franchise as a whole; A yellow M for the first letter letter of their corporation shows the identity of the quick and simple trait McDonalds encompasses as a fast food restaurant.

Brand Identity:

Logo is a design or symbol that a company gives to symbolize their products and corporation. An identity is what makes the company. It is the visual aspect of the corporation that forms the overall brand. Branding is the emotional part of the corporate image as a whole and it reflects the company as a whole.
